Jason Fredregill began his communications career at age 14. He was the youngest FCC-licensed radio-telephone operator with a daily radio show.
Having received a taste of filmmaking in his school district's talented and gifted program and a taste of audio editing creating parody songs, Jason was excited to attend the filmmaking program at Iowa State University. When the program was cut halfway through, Jason had to pivot or start over so he switched to Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in electronic media.
For the next several years, Jason worked as the voiceover artist and narrator for dozens of projects from commercial radio and TV spots to coaching videos for the UCLA volleyball program among others. He narrated a piece that garnered acclaim in the collegiate film branch of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences during this time.
Jason spent the first two years after graduation working in television news, followed by three years at the University of Nebraska as a producer/director. He continued to provide voice talent for the university, community radio and Nebraska Public Television as well as radio and TV imaging, promotional pieces and show openers both locally and nationally. He hosted a national news-style video show and his work has been seen on everything from ESPN to AgDay.
Recent work has included being the feature voice for a national job recruitment company, the voice of a villain in a YouTube short film, the voice of corporate phone menus, and various training modules and explainer videos for manufacturing companies and corporations. Jason also recently voiced promotional projects for the Greater Des Moines Partnership in a tourism series and his voice was heard in a commercial for an international chiropractic association which aired during The Masters.
